| I have been involved in many web projects in my time, and although I have enjoyed working at huge companies such at Yell, Compass Group, and the NHS; I've decided that I can best apply my skillset through my own consultancy, freshmedia. Freshmedia was incorporated in 1998, and has largely served to be a vehicle for contracts within larger organisations until 2009, when I decided to focus on delivering projects in a more dynamic, fast-paced way.
The companies below are the main beneficiaries of my services to date. Every project is different so feel free to view these websites, knowing that the complexity and efficieny of the intranet applications I delivered was even higher, and whatever web project you are considering, I would advise you to call me straight away to discuss what me and my team can do for you.
Dissolve Debt
This Manchester-based debt managment company had grown so fast it was in real trouble with it's intranet applications, with sales staff and customer services staff having to wait anything from 5 seconds to 30 seconds to access information on their key screens whilst the customers remained phone-bound. Creating a custom-built Sales pipeline and Payment system using the rapid and structured for ease of maintenance PHP Codeigniter framework, we were able to fly through the development and release this system in a matter of several weeks.
Sales application
Hampshire PCT
Hampshire is the UK's largest PCT (Primary care trust) having being consolidated from seven smaller trusts in 2007. Alongside collaborative new intranets, they needed an open, interactive website that was easy for their communications team to correspond with and publish information to the people of Hampshire and beyond. The trust was split into basic commissioning and provider groups. I analysed the market and recommended Joomla CMS which they adopted wholesale including on the following two websites. www.hampshire.nhs.uk www.hchc.nhs.uk
Compass Group
Compass Group is a ftse 100 catering giant. With hundreds of thousands of employees and dozens of brands and business units, there were plenty of demanding intranet applications that need developing. from accident and food hygiene compliance applications through to large-scale e-commerce tendering and procurement portals. In addition a many websites were needed, including: www.eversonhewett.co.uk www.selecta.co.uk

Lightening fast sales software.
Freshmedia's a new venture agency, hence our bargain rates at present. Our first big job was a Sales and CRM (customer relationship management) application for a debt management company in Altrincham.
Executive summary
My client was having several high level issues with their clients, staff, and suppliers which were IT related. The core problem was the speed their sales and customer management applications were running. Despite having seemingly good database structures, the size of the databases had grown exponentially with the size of the company consequently the applications were running very slowly with some screens taking thirty seconds to load. There were several political and business impacts the most negative being a fall in sales, and the sales team blaming the slow software.
